    Hi everyone.

Well its payday...:j... and I have put in £40.00 today. !!!! plus some small change.:T :T

I have decided that because I am aiming to save £10 per week, that I would put it all in my pot on payday.

At least I know that no matter how tight my money becomes, my sealed potty has been fed.:D

    Well that's the theory. !!

Hope you guys are all well.

  • eeyore got 80p today and 5p for small bits jar might have some more later after we have been shopping. but im going to have to split funds now i need to save towards new house so have a bank account set up. it means i cant spend as much so wont have lots of change and big amounts need to go in there so poor eeyore is only going to get change but it all adds up in the end just wont be as full as i was planning. hope you dont mind if i post how much i put in there aswell i know theres a virtual sealed pot thread but il get all confused. it helps keep me motivated putting the amounts on here. so its £10 for house today.

    New to this thread.

Been saving my spare change now for about 8 weeks.

    So far have

    9.45 in the 5p bottle

    4.28 (ish) in the 1's n 2's bottle

And no idea how much I have in the 10's,20's and 50's pot, as its one of those you have to undo with a tin opener, but its about quarter full, and I've chucked in quite a few 50p's :j

( Does anyone know roughly how much those tin cans can hold ? )

I'm saving up for my daughter's school uniform as she's moving up to secondary school in September, and the price of the uniform is obscene !

    Hi All,

Can i come back to play?:o

I'm going to give you excuses for my absence again - after thinking everything was sorted in January with the ex H but no, unfortunately not and i went BR in March.

The sealed pot savings i managed to scrape together helped me through a rough patch and were invaluable again. So now im back, ive carried on with the sealed pot as soon as i could and kept 1's and 2's etc.

I bulk bought some sealed pots in January - had 5 in total and now only have 2 left, one started, one not :o

Can i come back to the fold???

I will even start looking for road change again :)

That's pretty good for 8 weeks! My 5p jar has only about £1.20 so far so you're doing better than me on that front.

I never seem to have much spare change these days so my virtual sealed pot will probably accumulate better than my spare change by December.
