I am feeling better thank you, just adjusting to a) being allowed out of the house without people saying to me 'are you sure you're ready...' and being back at work. Each op is the last one - and this one IS the last one! LuckyCharlie - we have been decadent and are going on a cruise!! It was a huge saving to book so early and 4 in a cabin qualified for two people to pay only 20%. We split the savings amongst us so the cost was less than we paid for a villa a few years ago, and this has all food, entertainment etc thrown in.
Back on subject - now I have three pots competing for my pennies I feed the holiday pot from ebay/boot sales/overtime and the other two have to make do and share the spare change/roadkill. Last night they got 60p each and had to be content

A larger than usual handful of change in to the bottle - my lovely but idiotic hound knocked over a pile of Dads books which knocked over and broke a small jar he'd been keeping change in....it wouldnt fit back in to his other pots so he said to keep it myself, still working on getting him to agree to bag it all up for him on condition that I keep any extra though. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hi there,
Could I please join this challenge? Thanks to Nykmedia I made a money-pot-bellied-pig which I have yet to name.
I don't have a particular target but I chucked in €1.76 today to start it off. My piggy still feels very light so I hope to keep adding. I've also put a a very cheeky little 'Feed me and make a wish' tag tied with ribbon around her ear in case any visitors are feeling generous!
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Enjoy the banter, and good luck with your saving, you've made the first step and we all started out the same way with light pots/piggies/tubs etc, so it wont take long for the weight to pile on your piggy
