My pot hasnt seen much action recently :rotfl: but because I am failing so miserably with the GC, I am literally counting down the days till payday as Im all maxed out on the overdraft  so all my lovely change that was ear marked for my pot is having to be used instead for random things I need prior to getting paid.

Happy to report road kill of 4p ! it was in a very public place where I found it but I still picked up and didnt care what people thought of me. after all pennies make pounds :D

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Good morning everyone.
Well the 21st party was fantastic, got to see family I don't get much of a chance to see :j . I've definitely got to learn sign language, as my cousin & her husband are both deaf, and I would love to sign with them ;) .
    Plus I got 2 X £2 coins in change :T .

Don't worry about raiding your pots, we;re very forgiving here, and it's nice to have an emergency fund :D .

I did manage about another £2 odd plus change in tonight/this morning. :D , sorry I'm as "fissed as a part", if you know what I mean  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Catch you all in the morning, good night fellow challengers ;)

Hope you had a really good time reb. ......Pleased to hear you had a fantastic time at the wedding sparky, sounds as though you mixed with the elite! :rolleyes:I hope all's well with young Jess, still it's the weekend, hopefully you'll hear back next week. Have a great evening Mr popular!.....Well done Tommy!! :T £10.43 saved by quitting is a lot of money - so far! Why not keep count by adding the amount to your sig each time.....Ah well, not to worry rosepink, try to put it back in asap if possible, it'll help in the long run, but good to know you had it by you :A.....Good for you weenapops, sounds as though you're really proud and you should be!.....Ooooh now our elsie can't help seeing your logic with the £5.00 voucher, safest in your pot for sure!!!....I see you're back then sparky, glad you had a good time. Signing is so rewarding to do, I've learned the alphabet so far and a few odd phrases, go for it and be able to converse with them, even if you only see each other now and then it'll really make them happy to know someone cared enough!

Have a great day all, hope you have great weather, lovely here yesterday.

Sue PS. For any new friends wishing to join us, please just ask and I'll be with you ASAP.

Slow going with my pot, only small change going in. I am still on my first Coke tin so will have to make a definite effort to get on track, aim to have 4 tins filled for opening day.
  • Found some money in my knicker drawer...
pot is huge though and amount in there looks tiny, maybe bad psychologically?!
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
  • Morning all. I put about £5.00 in my potties last night after catching up with an old friend I haven't seen for about 18 years...I also got a letter of apology from Selfridges - which contained a £40 gift card. So my moaning and complaining definitely paid off. Not sure if we're going out later, so may not add much more to the pot. I have a mystery shop to do tomorrow though so that will give me a few pennies. I'm also going to get a couple of the £1 easter eggs from sainsbos tomorrow as the offer runs out then. Laters. xxx
    Save me from spending...
