  • I will put some in the pot, the rest in the bank and spend it on OH's Valentines :D also the odd £1 is going to another lucky dip on the lottery ticket :D :rotfl: that's my only 'unnecessary' spend, although it has proved itself to me and i earnt interest on what i had spent on the lottery all the time i have been playing it (I've only played it 15 times including the one that i won on :D) and anyhoo i'm going to get the cash changed up into pound coins for the pot (not all of them :o ) tommorrow so i shall let you all know how much i put in.
    Have a good day tommorrow

A very warm welcome to the thread ifonlyitwaseasier and lesleyvhalifax Lovely to meet you both. :D Enjoy yourselves here and have fun with saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1, read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with queries.

    PLEASE NOTE ALL
I've exceeded the limit of 2,500 character limit on post 1 of the first page, therefore the list is now continued on post 2.

You're welcome Kel, though the way I see it is that we all have pasts and have, at some time, done at least one thing we're not too proud of, but it doesn't mean we can't make sure we don't do it, or anything like it, again - but to prove that, we need to have the second chance. Good luck with yours.:D BTW another couple for your list "Try to keep at least some food in stock so you always have enough for unexpected visitors or need to have a lean week" and of course "Always have a sealed pot for loose change!" :p ....It was a real pest yesterday sparky, but after messing about with it most of today (Mon) it appears to be much better - I just hope it can't read what I've put!!!:silenced: Some great giggles from Peter Kay thanks sparky, thanks a lot for putting them on. ...Well done your 10 yr old DS frenchconnection!!!:T ....For your young lass too girlatplay!:j it's good to start them off right, especially these days when so many youngsters get into debt so young and so quickly! ........Congratulations Jordan!!!! What a difference a day or so makes eh!!! ......Good to see you again Oops! Good luck with the £2s!

Have a good Tuesday everyone and PLEASE NOTE the above notice

Sue PS. For any new friends wishing to join us, please just ask and I'll be with you ASAP.

    morning all

80p in the pot this morning (my change from yesterday) also shopped in tesco so need to find the receipt, round that up and stick in the pot.

also had my credit card statement and I think I should (once I have been paid) put the amount i have been charged in interest etc into the pot. might teach me not to use my credit card in future!!

finally over £6 of food wasted yesterday so thats going in the pot too :D
have a good day everyone and happy pot filling :D
