Morning all. Looks like everyone is doing SO well. Have been away for a couple of days, so spent the last hour or so catching up on all your posts.
I must be doing something wrong
only a miserable 1p in pottery piggy after the weekend. No pavement pennies from the sniffer dog either (she's far more interested in discarded poppadoms and empty paper bags). I have a feeling DH has sneaked some loose change off the dressing table today -so I will definately be checking on that one when he comes home. Have a good day everyone!

Morning Diana, tracking takes around 30 mins to do (but the garage will take at least 2 hours.... ) usually costs around £20.
Ring around Kwik Fit, Budget, National Tyres and your local garage (my personal favourite as they need the business and souldn't rip you off if you're armed with quotes!)
Hope this helps!

Hi Diana, I would go to a local garage. I was ripped off by one of the big ones once. Definitely get quotes from a few and see.

Theunknownstuntman and Rosepink - thankyou for your kind words too.
I know this is completely off subject and i have done a thread on this but only had 2 replies, but i read somewhere on a thread that someone had stated some kind of journal/book for when their child/ren leave home including things like recipes, washing label instructions, hints and tips and everything you may need to know when you leave home. I can't find the thread but thought I would start my own book for my kids as a project to focus on as I dont go out.
If anyone has any ideas of what I can include in the book please let me know, so far we have thought of:
Budgeting
domestic violence
child abuse
shopping tips
cooking
cleaning tips OS style
sex and contraception
places to go for help
tips for going out drinking safely
tenancies
employment and tax
doctors/dentist/optician
council tax
bills
relationships
alcohol
drugs
health n safety
how to prevent hazards
first aid
tenancy and landlord
basic things needed for a house
basic tool kit
basic fridge/freezer/cupboard stocks
basic cleaning and bathroom supplies
benefits
bank accounts
emergency contacts
bills
saving
relationships
pregnancy and birth
writing a resume
debt
college/uni
jobs
phone numbers
doctor/dentist/optician
pets
can you think of anything else.

Hi xxbabyxflutterbyxx
Well done on beating your addiction :T :T :T erm you could do basic friendship making, like telling them that not everyone will like them, people will always be rude and to not get tied down because of what their friends are doing. If i had known that when i was younger i would have got rid of the people that were damaging me too.
Oh yes i forgot to say i won £10 on the lottery on Weds, so half of it is going in the pot and half i'm going to save for bus moneybut if i haven't used it by thursday then it shall go in the pot :rotfl:
Thanks sparky for the Peter Kay laughs on this (Unfortunate) Monday morning(I don't like Mondays)
..xxI am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A0
