Hi Sparky.
I know I am very bad, but I have a plan.......Money every day goes into " little pot."and then once a week its transferred into "Big Sealed Pot ", which is now safely tucked away in the loft. !!.
It's going to be safe there because
a.....I can't reach it
b.....I don't like spiders
so take my word for it its safe now. OH has taken charge, he doesn't want to know how much is in....won't even guess....Boring.

Right!!!! Roll up roll up for Roadkill School! Presented by your genial hosts Sparky and Stunty. No talking at the back, switch your mobiles off!!!
Rules and guidelines:
1) Walk in the middle of the pavement.
2) Look at the pavement a decent distance ahead of you and move your eyes over the whole of the pavement in a radar style.
3) Check the road every now and then. That glint in the road can be a nice little bit of road kill. (but make sure you don't get knocked over picking it up!!!)
4) Check bus stops. Loads of roadkill here. School kids throw it at each other... lol
5) Supermarket car parks. Plenty to be had here.
6) I find McDonalds, KFC carparks are good hunting grounds.
7) Footie grounds (I work around 2 of them and they're great for change!)
I hope you've all taken notes.......... Professor Sparky will be asking questions later...... lol

Hi all,
The checkout girl at the supermarket today apologised for not having any fivers, and she gave me 4 £2 coins in my change!! Yippeee!! Into the pot with them.!!Sealed Pot challenge #59SPC5 total £473.600 -
I added a couple of coins to my tin today, only adding £1 and 50p coins as they are what hubby usually spends at work, if there not there he can't spend them!
How do I do the signature thing? Can anyone tell me? Thanks
Hi purdy2233,
To do a signature go to User CP, then Control Panel, then Edit Signature and have a play around.

I've found £1 in pennies today (it was in a bag in a drawer), and will change it into a coin at the bank so I have more room in my pot - otherwise it will fill up too quickly if I put all the pennies in!
Thanks for the tips on road kill - I always look for it, but never seem to find it. Am going to pay more attention in car parks and bus stops! Thank yoooooo "Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Am loving the roadkill masterclass - thank you stunty.
I shall try to put your lessons into practice tomorrow.
I have to confess that I saw my first bit yesterday, but it was lashing down and I was under the dry bit of the bus stop and it was way out in the rain so I left it there (it was 1p) - I repent, I repent£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Evening Mr Stunty,
Excellent start to the master class, I think they've still got a bit of learning to actually get a "badge" in road change collecting, but between us I think we can knock them into shape lol :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

poorandindenial,
I'm sorry but a bit of rain is no excuse not to pick up road change, also swooping in front of people who are about to pick it up is a good one, it really throws them off lol :rotfl:
