Nothing put in pot for a couple of days as I have not spent anything. However broke into a £5 to buy bread (£1.20) so change will go into pot. Road kill - 2p (two separate 1ps found within a few steps of each other)

I managed £3.00 today. OH and I went shopping and he "paid" for the trolleys we needed but I took them back then I found a £1.00 on the ground by the side of the car.

OK - decision made. Will put £5 of my remaining £10 in the pot and keep ther other £5 "just in case". Hope I can keep doing this on a weekly basis!!

My hubby is out for the night, he's a drummer and it's rehearsal night with one of his bands. He borrowed £5 for the studio, he will give me it back, but I think I will go and find some interest in his drawers. Should be a few coppers there. Trouble is he uses little cash and so there is very little change.
Not a lot is better than none me thinketh! :j

lol Little Chicken, this is exactly how I feel...its the cold weather, blame it on the weather... :rolleyes:

How do people find 'road kill' money?? I've only ever found money once (though it was a £20 )...must keep my eyes glued to the pavements from now on..

Not doing too well, mainly cos I haven't been buying anything much with cash! I think I will post a note to self to buy more rubbish at the newsagents etc..

Hiya , is it too late to join please ..im reall ymotivated to do any money saving this year , after ive had the skintiest xmas just gone than any other ?..an also im trying to find a new job , in the hope its somewhere i will get paid tips ..so all good for the pot if i do?/
