Sealed Pot Challenge 2 "The Return"

DH just came home with 30p roadkill :j
Been cleaning out my chest of drawers this afternoon and found a whopping £26.45. £20 note I must have hidden away at some point (no clue when!) and a bag of 5ps. Now I knew about them, I just couldn't remember where I'd hidden them :rotfl:
So I've bagged up £5 worth of 5p's to change at the bank and put the remaining ones into my coppers jar.
I'm now undecided what to do with the note. If only I could remember who's it was and why I hid it away in the first place! Got a feeling it's probably birthday money from a couple of years ago...(but I've obviously not missed it have I?!!!)Sealed Pot #418 ('09 £414.12) ('10 £550.90) ('11 £440.60)0 -
its been a NSD for me so no change for my pot.
Sparky- i'm fine thanks, just trying to build up enthusiasm for going back to uni on monday, i find some of the lecturers a bit boaring and am also wondering if uni is right for me, but i know i would be silly to give up and given the curent economic situation with bussiness laying people of everyday, it would be hard to find a job.
Stunty- are you getting married?
Shelley xBack on MSE again! to take control of my finances and not let it control me. :T May grocery challenge £41.96/1400 -

Evening shelley,
Stick with it hun, it will be worth it in the end. As for the economic climate I think a lot of these firms are just jumping on the bandwagon, and using it a s an excuse to get rid of people, with the least amount of redundancy that they need to pay out.
On a lighter note, stunty is indeed getting married having proposed to the future Mrs S before Christmas. :TSparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Total for SPC3 £1,030.57 Total For SPC 4 £2247.00 Total for SPC 5 £2574.62 :T Total for SPC 6 £4552.91:T

My financial week goes from Wednesday to Tuesday and I have £10 left from last week's budget in my purse (haven't taken anything out for this week yet as not well and staying in).
