Personally when i'm travelling i wait till virtually everyone has boarded then stroll up and make my decision of who i want to sit by rather than join the scrum to get a seat then have to take pot luck on who sits next to me.0

Yes agree. Flew with Ryanair for the first time, 1p each way to Italy, and no problem at all. The online check-in facility to me beats the fiasco at the airport check-in and baggage reclaim.
One point though. It was laughable that the few Priority passengers boarded a bus to be taken not more than 10 metres to the aircraft. We had to walk there!0 -
I agree
Since i have persuaded my OH that we can take all we need in hand luggage, and we have discovered online check in,travelling is so much easier-not having to join the queue to get luggage weighed and being able to go to the airport and go straight to security and into the departure lounge-WHY haven't we discovered this before!!
OH is not a great traveller,so the less time we have to wait around in queues, the better.0
