Don't use streamline. They look cheap but are actually very slow. They use fasthost to actually host. So you could go direct. Also streamline make it VERY difficult to leave and have very complicated terms and conditions. I left even though I had paid for 2 years hosting because I could not stop them charging me for things that I had not asked for. I had 4 sites hosted but they charged me for 20. I had to claim money back using a visa dispute and alot of paperwork.

I've used streamline for a long time without experiencing any problems or slow sites. Their customer service is good fix/respond post-sales (24 hours typically) and I've been with them some years.

Yes they are a bit lax in reminding about the automatic renew but really that's your own personal management in my eyes.

There are lots of bad things about them said over the internet so perhaps I've just been lucky.

Why the hell are people bumping old topics ?

I'm sick of seeing new people joining on forums just to bump month old topics, it's irrating the hell out of me when I'm trying to find new stuff and have to troll through topics just to find what I want :mad:

FIK - Either you're a competitor or have an issue with streamline. Make a new post, stop bumping old ones it's irritating as hell.

Of course, if instead of you bumping the same posts you could just leave them to drop off the page....

I know it's a double edge sword, but a nice way of highlighting it

I'd rather be given moderator priveleges then lock all posts, would be much easier :D

It clearly still is an important issue if you are looking for a webhost then don't use streamline.net. Its as true today as it was then. They are cowboys!
