Just a word of advice, as we replaced doors in our old flat - not only were they non- standard size, they were all different sizes and not quite rectangular!
Good luck!!0 -
An easy thing to do would be to cover the door on the bathroom side only with 4 mm ply, chisel off any mouldings that are raised, buy new handles and fit to bathroom side only, paint the ply side whichever colour you wish, white satin is a nice finish with nice modern furniture.
Now when your in the hall, the door matches the rest of them, and when your in bathroom, nice and modern!
This saves you loads of work and money and works.
I'm a joiner and have done this for customers on a few occasions with great results0 -

Bl00dy hell! it was only a few years ago we were all told we should be ripping off the plywood and replacing the mouldings on all our previously 'modernised' doors!

You will not get a new door to match. Not only will you not match the colour but you can't match the character (ie. the knocks and bumps that they have attracted and the ageing of the door which causes it to twist and split sometimes)
You'll also be amazed at how different those doors are to each other even when at first glance they just look like four panel doors (for example). The mouldings are all different. I needed a door for newan ensuite recently. H found a door at this random shop in Worcester which just has old doors piled up outside for £15 - lucky to have found one the rights size as it's small but the mouldings are slightly different to the other doors and despite being pitch pine, the colouring too. We've had to paint it and the old ensuite door as it's the only way to keep them looking visually similar.
If you are looking for a certain size, keep a search on ebay - it might take a couple of weeks or so but the door will come up eventually!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Go into any new build modern flat and 9 times out of ten the doors will be flush panel doors, they will either be oak, beech or ash.
You can buy 8' x 4' sheets of these 4mm thick from any builders merchant and once stuck on with a couple of coats of varnish they look great.
You can machine or buy timber of the same wood and mitre them to plant on the face to form panel effect.0
