    I work for the Post Office, there is nothing that states that another country has to use the 'sign for item' procedure in thier own country. After all, you have paid the UK service for the procedure not the other countries service.
    Its a case of 'hit & miss' some sign, some don't.
    Not to mention time delay.

    If anyone needs to send abroad then use UPS or another international service to be safe.

    Just my thoughts.......
