Disney Dummy Holders - HELP

OK this is going to sound stupid, but we recently got some disney dummy holders (used for attaching dummies/pacifiers/soothers to clothing.

The problem is we can't work out how to attach them to the dummy.

If anyone else has succeeded in doing this and is able to either send a photograph or just describe the method I would be extremely greatful.

NB. Attaching the item to the clothing is trivial. We don't need an explanation of this.

Thanks

Oh, I think I had those for my daughter, tigger and eeyore ones? If it's the same ones Im thinking of, the main part (circle shape) you push one side of it until it pops out, and then a little clip thing should appear and then you put that in between the straps/reins/clothing and push it back down.

    Bad job explaining that!

can you put a picture of the dummy holders so we can see them? now i'm curious. i know that some holders we looked at didn't work well with certain dummies. maddening, isn't it?

if it has the rubber round circle, it needs to be pushed over the handle and around the outside of the dummy.

Don't know much about it but if you didn't have the compatible soothers could you not loop the strap through the rubber ring, trapping the 'handle' of the soother in the rubber loop. Didn't explain that well at all. Only eg I can think of is when you put a hairband through your button hole to extend your waistband when pregnant! :) Don't know how soft the rubber is though, it might just slip out all the time and be a pain in the bum!
  • hiya - you dont need the matching dummys - the white plastic thing at the end goes AROUND the dummy handle and slots on to hold it tight at the base - you need to strech it. Ive got a few of them and they work with all dummys.

Yes, that's what I meant above - the rubbery ring gets stretched a bit around the dummy handle. Once they're on, they do stay on pretty well. But they will fit on most dummies. Thanks for the pic.

I find these types of holders the best, the clip securely to clothes, the other clippy kinds Matthew just pulls off and throws the whole thing away.

Yes stretch the rubber ring around the dummy handle so it sits around the handle and against the base of it. Heres Matthew with one, hope you can see it,

Getting rid of the dummy would solve your problem - vile things they are!
