    Hi Guys,
Well I have done the deed. After a sleepless night wondering how it came to this
I knew there was no turning back. Opted for the smart casual look, rather than a suit
as I wasn’t seeing a judge and jury!. Arrived a full hour early to see a rather soulless glass and metal building ( well they would say it aint for partying ) An hour later after a deep breath I swept into the court. Onto the 4th floor to pay my fees and get my vast amount of paperwork checked. ( felt like I had brought half of WH Smith with me )
A quick oath on the bible and I was ushered into a corridor to wait further checks on my paperwork. 20 mins later I was taken to the first floor where it seemed to me that the world and his solicitor where trying to find clauses to undermine the entire justice system. A further 20 mins later I was asked to go into room 3 where a nice lady judge was waiting. She explained that I had missed my secured loans off my paperwork. My god, how did I miss that! Had enough hassle from them, so someone up there is helping me get my own back on them. With a sweep of a black fountain pen at 11.08 I was made BR. Approx 1hr 20 mins had passed. I had to wait for 2 copies of my BR details to be typed up and then that was that, I was free!!
Not sure how I feel, did it really happen? Am I really debt free? I am still expecting the phone to go at any moment from my creditors. Seems a bit dreamlike at the moment.
One thing I would like to say is that a lot of people give up their own free time on this site to help others without any sort of reward. I genuinely would not of been brave enough to do this without your help, so to all the site members/contributors/advisors a big THANK YOU, you really do make a difference to peoples lifes.
As I write this the OR has been in touch, saying he will arrange a phone/face to face interview in Jan ( really busy ) to be honest I am not really bothered, daft as it seems, I have done the hard bit and I can live quite easily with a BRO should it come to that ( and it will )
So tomorrow, is the first day of my debt free life, cant quite believe it. If anyone wants to ask anything please come back to me. I will be bothering you all with post BR questions so you will not get rid of me that easy.
My thanks to everyone, what a journey

    Just a final PS.
Book your BR for an early timeslot. Mine was booked for 9.45am the earliest appointment they had. Although it took 1hr 20 mins, it was getting really busy, and I would imagine anything booked after 12.0pm would involve a long long wait.

Well done and thanks for posting your experience. The reward we get is helping people like you - thanks for the thanks though! This forum is wonderful and I know that I survived thanks to the advice and reading other people's experiences which is why I'm glad to help out.

Of course we'll still be here to answer your post BR questions.

Well done Dodger & thankyou for a clear account of the day.

It will really reassure others that the court really is just a process & that you are treated with respect.
