I use GNUCash, which is free to download and use, however it only works on computers running Unix/Linux. It offers double-entry book-keeping, is very easy to use and can create a multitude of different financial reports.0

Just to let everyone know Microsoft Money is Tescos deal of the day for £12.97. I know there were some vouchers flying around on the vouchers board as well so that may reduce the price.Divorce all finished- now to start saving for a better future!0

Scorour,
Thanks for your tips on MS Money. I want to get a financial package and this thread has confirmed that MS Money is the way ahead.
Could you or anyone else adivse me on which package to get? I want to access to about 7 accounts and to track some shares as well as the standard home accounting. Which of the packages should I get - Standard, Deluxe or Premium?
Well, that is my first post done - what a great site! :j

Before you commit, have a little look around the money site:

Also, check your bank supports Money:

HLK,
Not sure of your exact problem, 1st thing to check is the following link, this addresses common issues with OFX type downloads to Money...

If this does not help, post any more details you can and I will see if I can help further.0 -

To import, you need to import as a statement (an option is on the file-> menu, rather than an account, although Money 2005 should just import it automatically.
There are also OFX checkers out there, just in case the bank sends an invalid statement.0
