Still not been added to Electoral/Voters Roll at new home after 5 months?

Hi all,
We moved into our flat at the start of July this year & immediately sent off to be added to the voters roll, but are still not showing on it (as per our credit expert report).
We chased the council (North Lanarkshire) who advised we would be added on 1st December (today).
Our credit report is still not showing us added, but I don't know if I should wait a few days or chase the council right away, as they have messed us about quite a bit since we moved to the area?
PS - sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.

They only update the electoral roll at certain times of the year. If, when you called last time, they said you've be added today, then call tomorrow & see if you have.0

Do you not have a rolling update? I thought they could update every month now?0

That's what I thought as well - it's really getting to us, as looking at my credit report, that's the only reason I got refused finance for a car (need a bigger one due to our baby)0 -
I'd give it til tomorrow and then ring.0

Can anyone tell me how you ckeck whether you are on the electoral roll please? We moved into our rented house 6 months ago and registered but it didn't occur to me that it might not have happened! Need to make sure we are on the roll for when the time comes to buy a house.0

Check with your local council.0

I eventually rang the voters people (was very hard to find their number from my council website).
Anyway, they advised I am on the voters roll, as it updates every month BUT things like credit expert etc only get their information from the annual update?
This has me worried, as would any finance company not see the same thing as credit expert?0 -
Surely whoever you wanted credit from could have checked or indeed taken proof such as utility bills and council tax payments?0
-
What are you sweating about the credit report? If you can't get credit then is it *such* a bad thing?0

I've been trying to get it sorted out for months as my car is too small due to the new addition to the family.0
