Broadband Advice...

Hi all
My 12 month contract with AOL is nearly up and I am looking for the best deal for me, and after filling in loads of comparison sites and reading lots of blumf on the respective web-pages I thought I would ask you guys.
I had been considering the £19.99 Tiscali deal until I read some of the posts on here. I thought it sounded too good to be true (2mb connection, no limits AND free landline calls day and night!).
Does anyone know/have opinions on the best one out there for service and price? I am currently paying £17.99 for the AOL silver and paying for the Option 2 on my BT, so a deal which includes free calls will save me cash somewhere along the line!
Thanks in advance

could always migrate over to zazizam's unlimited 512k broadband and phone combo @ £15.99 a month (which is what i am on) - you wont notice much difference in 512k and 2mb when browsing the internet... other than a few milliseconds that is

Personally id say dont bundle the telephone calls with the internet as it will only work out costing you more for what you get. Shope around and get an internet only deal then look at the home phone section as their are lots of companies in there that would save you money based on BT option 2. Sure its not as easy as having it all in one bill but it is cheaper.

it may even be possible to use external services such as 1899 if you do join a phone/broadband combo - so you can jiggle around the best of everything

If you have got a broadband connection, you can often use VOIP to make normal phone calls over the internet for free so no point in paying for a telephone calls bundle.

An ISP which gets excellent reviews is https://www.NewNet.com
They are offering a month's free broadband if people migrate before the end of this month.

based on what zazizam were offering - taking up their phone/broadband bundle saves you money on the standard internet subscription price - so it is worth it IMO

Hmm. 0870 support and sales lines.
Prices are keen although £2.06 per additional GB is a bit steep.
