  • oh well - looks like Saturday then. I'm lucky - being the boss I don't get into trouble. Although I have a case of wine here which i am taking home bit by bit as I can't carry it to the car!

    Hi all,

I hope that everyone is well today.

At work today we were told that we will be having three weeks off work for christmas with pay!

But there was bad news to thay are cutting out all the shift working so that means a change of hours and a change with the pay. its means we will all be taking a pay cutof about 20% So not good. But it dose work out better than a 3-4 day week which would mean a lot bigger cut in pay for us.

Anyway i hope that you all enjoy your evening
And that you all have a great day tomorrow
    all the best everyone

wine sounds good to me! And chocolate is even better!

Second journey of the day done. Next one starts at 6 when I go to the class.

I have done nothing but run around today and plan teaching but not earnt a penny. Not good.

I'll be working up to Christmas Eve lunchtime in my office job. Off Christmas and Boxing Day but will more than likely be working on AQA on both days (probably a couple of hours Xmas Day and all day Boxing Day) and across that weekend. I'm back in the office between Christmas and New Year and then off until 13 Jan (blimey, didn't realise it was that long!) but will be working on AQA each day I'm on holiday and I'm also teaching on the evening of the 12th.

I also have 2 new 10 week courses to plan for as well. Gulp.

  • I'm off to make Christingles with my brownies now - could be messy. Last meeting this year - yeah! Taking them on Santa Express at the weekend though - that's a fun day for us all.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRr..........managed to not put the heating back on as I was only in for an hour or so - even though my toes and fingers are cold and I'm sat here with a scarf on!

Off to get changed and then go and learn how to decorate a cake. I'm looking forward to being on the other side of the fence so to speak, as well as learning something cookery related it will be interesting to see how another cookery tutor structures the class etc.

Nice to be able to leave the class at 9 and not have to go round putting everything away etc!

  • Well that certainly isnt me Maz-
It *could* be, happily, but sadly, not so. (oh, how my Uni professors would shudder at that last sentence! lol)

Decided to venture out the 4 walls of the Bunny Warren today and have successfully confirmed that we are NOT BETTER YET.
Even McDonalds could not get the kids to eat and I keep going dizzy (snot build up I think) and even with DH's encouragement to SPEND I couldnt get the energy to buy any more Christmas decos.

Hi Bookseller and Whatatwit! Nice to see you still hanging about-haven't scared you off yet then?

Len-you'll be fine. Buck up, stiff upper lip and all that.
(and get some ibuprofen, paracetemol, cough nurse in)
