Thanks greenbee. I'm in Guernsey though so I don't think I get anything! It's not always hurting but it's just on and off and really gets to you in the end iykwim. I do have a TENS machine, shall have to dig it out and try it again. Off to see the doctor again on Friday, been trying to do the exercises he gave me but I keep forgetting and it aches doing it anyway!

    Off to bed now...sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy!

pigpen - Our freecycle has a blanket policy of no reasons for why you want the item, just ask 'wanted : item (location) ' this has to be followed by everyone, we just ask they don't state why they need it because we do have those who will include a massive sob story so it makes it easier, but this is for all members not just selected ones. Just saying ours is broken is fair enough, sort of the obvious one, I would edit if it said 'desperate for a washer and my kids won't eat for a week if I buy one' for example, even if it's true, personally I don't like seeing any pressure put on the kinder members who would donate what they can't afford to to help someone else. I just remind people Freecycle is there to provide an outlet for what otherwise would end up on landfill. The new 'my freecycle' uses postcodes, we haven't used it, I don't like it, it's a new programme they want us to use. If we have personal issues with members, if they have already wound one of us up, we usually let someone else deal with any issues, it's not worth getting personally involved. I do wonder how some Freecycles are still going, some you do hear horror stories from. I don't doubt some are in it to basically be a bossy **** and abuse the system even sometimes. I prefer to stick with policy and then it's easier for everyone. We're kind of strict, not as strict as some, but every rule is justified. I put in many hours a day on ours, I do take pride in it, but if I have done something wrong I would rather someone said. If they're breaking the rules then I agree if they won't listen, complain.

Done most of my M&S selecting ready for midnight :D all on save for later.....

M&S 20% off order placed - all thermals! Couple of bits I wanted are out of stock so I'll see about going to the store too.

Just been reading a thread about rumours of a woolies sale - some say upto 50% off - others say everything for £1 although that is highly doubted - there is not one in our town and I can't be bothered to go to S'nage again.

    Right off to bed now.

    Morning All

I won't be getting a lot done tonight as I'm out but I'm just going do a quick HHC now before I get ready for work.

I have a question for those people who are always posting things. Will some plastic toys be okay posted in a bag with some fabric or something round it to protect it as I'm struggling to find a box to fit it in?

    Have a good day all

    Morning all

We have rain too JulieJ - lots of it since about 4am. I know because I lay awake listening to it overflow the guttering! But, it's not as cold as they predicted so the roads won't be as bad as they anticipated. I'll still take it carefully though.

    Have a good day ladies.
