Hateful people that 'moderate' our local freecycle.. They were well peeved when I contacted the head office when they decided they thought noone could be allowed on the site if they didn't give their name, postcode and local area, they already have the email.. and I challenged them saying it is a breach of the data protection act.. and the head office told them off.. they have since not allowed any of my posts.. for wanted adds, offers.. nothing... anyway.. my mother asked me to put a wanted for my sister a washing machine as hers died and she was made redundant and cannot afford a new one.. so I do the add and they say it can't be 'allowed' as it gave reasons of why she wanted one.. ie.. hers is broken and she really needs one and can't afford one.. I mean.. where would most of us be without our washing machine?? SO.. I sent the silly cow a mail back with about 7 examples of others wanted ads with reasons in them.. apparently they are different.. I used a 'taboo' word.. I suggested they write a glossary of words people can and cannot use because they are clearly up their own @r$e so far they are seeing double... Gosh I'd love to meet the moron who calls herself a moderators in the flesh so I could stick it to her!! Such a hag!!!
Anyway.. her mails are blocked, head office has a massive complaint and I woudl rather throw stuff in the bin than be part of a group that censors your every breath..their loss!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Sounds like it - glad you let the HO know - I hate people who are just spiteful for no other reason than the fact you have taken away the small amount of power they had... sometimes I'm sure it's the only reason that some of these people take on this type of work and not just coz they want to help (no offence Lil_me as I know you did that too)
We had a guy like that on our club committee, he was the chairman at the time, swore I wouldn't get something passed unless it was over his dead body, well, he must be dead or I wouldn't have got it passed last week then would I??? Oh, no he's not, there he is, walking into the room with me holding up a big poster of the fact that I won and he lost... na na ne na na... (well, I'm living that bit in my head at the moment coz I haven't seen him yet, but it will happen...:D ) Mind, he was just an arrogant pig who was so far up his own backside that if he ... oooh, better not carry on with that...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

just managed to catch up... spent the day on an induction course for new governors, then went to a school finance committee meeting, then a full governing body meeting at which I was presenting on self-evaluation...
... my mother decided to call every phone I own just before the meeting finished...
... eventually called her back and it wasn't urgent...
... then had to call my brother's fiancee as they may have to move their wedding forward to July/August instead of November due to problems finding a venue (better sooner rather than later though!)...
... then worked out where I'm going tomorrow (still haven't done the presentation) and what time I have to get up/leave...
... then caught up on the thread...
Zoey - hope it went OK
Pigpen - you have to get over your fear of doctors (my little brother is one, they're not all bad)
Emily - fantastic news
Nikki - it's good to see you've got a plan, and are being realistic about how long it will take to get there. If you manage it sooner, so much the better
Gryphon - pain and depression are linked. It may be that your backpain has been at a level that you can't deal with for too long... are you registered as a chronic pain sufferer? If so, you get VAT off TENS (this works fantastically well for me, although apparently that's because I'm wierd  ). You might find that if you can find a way to deal with the pain, you'll feel more positive. Look after yourself and I'm sure you'll pull through. I'm not around much over the next couple of days, but should be at the weekend if you want to PM me.
Toots - get those utility bills sorted asap!!!
Hugs to all... I hope to catch up properly (and do some flying) at the weekend...
