  • Errmm, I'm not sure what to tell you about it? Here's a line from Wikipedia "Cranial osteopathy is said to be based on involuntary mechanisms or rhythm which some claim can be felt with a very finely developed sense of touch."

It's quite a long and biased article, but the bit about cranial stuff explains it better than I could. ;)

All I know for sure is that my little thunder storm DD2 became a sunshiny day with occasional outbreaks of rain!!!! IYSWIM! She's a darling now, and I honestly think we'd have killed each other by now without having done it.

Sounds like a great idea - where do you go for such a thing?

    Evening everyone.

Went to see mum this morning. She was fine and quite excited as they had put the xmas tree and decorations up.

My manager rang to ask if I would go and work in a different home for a month as they were desperate. Said I would have a think and call her back. The clients there are more able and have conversations. Instead of night shifts they do sleep ins. Ive said yes as long as I can have xmas day off which I would be doing at my own home. Will be a bit strange at first.
Did some of the list while tea was cooking.

Tuesday - Kitchen & dining area
    Level One

Sweep and mop floors! Will do this in the morning.
    Level Three
    Wash windows

  • I blame Deliah and all her cheating

Nah, it was way before Delia started cheating - think she just jumped on the school bandwaggon... My DD & DS both had to take stuff in like that - tinned fruit and a bag of crumble to make apple crumble, ready-roll pastry, jar of mincemeat to make mince pies, shall I go on?

It's wrong, they should be learning basics before other stuff - yes, we might use readyroll now to save time, but if you know the basics you might want to take things further and it's the same with everything - I think we need to go back to basics on a lot of school stuff - like reading, writing and arithmatic - if they know those, they can learn other stuff so much easier... Ooooh, sorry, bit of a rant there...:o and by the way, no offence to teachers, I know you are just governed by the curriculum, which is another bone of contention with me, sorry, getting off soapbox now...:rotfl:

Boddy - doing 'sleep ins' must be better than 'night shift' and if you can have conversations, that will be lovely both for you and your clients. Here's hoping you get the 25th off!

Soappie They have said I can have xmas day off. Used to do sleep ins and didnt like being away from the house for 24hrs but have thought I dont mind for a short while. (More money) Another good thing is they will make sure I can get home when there is no buses.

I know the clients and have done a shift there before. Plus they have a cat and sky tv lol.

Had a paranoid moment and thought is my boss trying to get rid of me.
