Well Ihave had a lovely day at school, first class i was in a desk was thrown across the room, second class 2 girls started a fight and finally the thried class I was called a f*****g !!!!! by a little young man who thought he would entertain the rest of the class - he is know out for 2 days. All this was before lunchtime i'm glad i am only a teaching assistant and not an actual teacher ahving to deal with this on a daily basis.
Sounds like you had a fun-filled day - little darlings aren't they...:rolleyes:SummerMoon wrote: »Flower..... he is on the sick from work. Doesnt want to resign cos he has nothing to go too, and it would take up to 6 months for JSA if he left his work voluntarily. He has decided to bite the bullet and go back to work next week tho, even tho he hates his job. Told him to just let things go and keep a positive attitude. Not easy for him, he has OCD and anxiety issues so always feels as if everyone is out to get him.
Sorry Summermoon, read on and saw that he was going back to work, good news about the interview for you though...
Didn't realise he was off sick, I must have skimmed or missed that bit so apologies for that - thought there must have been a reason why he couldn't claim... I hope he is able to deal with the work stuff and hopefully 2009 will be a good year for you both and he will get a new job that he loves... all the best to you both, you deserve it... :ALBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

DD1 brought back her list of items needed for "food tech" next week (!) They're making a quiche, and item one is 300g bought, frozen shortcrust pastry:eek:
. I told her that the night before I will show her how to make her own to take in. Why can't the cookery teacher teach them to cook from scratch like I was taught - hardly MS using bought stuff is it?

jjef thats appalling behaviour - It just makes me more in awe of the teachers and assistants like you that you cope with that.

I've done no flying today. Went out Christmas shopping didn't do very well, found it very boring and tiring. Going to update my list to convince myself that I have got somewhere. The Entertainer Toy Shop have no VAT on anything old price say £1 new price 87p so made a bit of a saving in there. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
'Scuse me my chickens and I have a special understanding.
They hover around and then inspect their coop when I've put fresh bedding and straw in and then pop their heads out of the coop and c0ck their little heads to one side and say 'thank you Mum, it's lovely and warm and we'll lay you a lovely egg tomorrow'.......in chicken language which I understand.;):p:D
