It is quite common for children that have used baby walkers to then walk on tip toes because that is what the walkers encourage them to do.
Hi,
I was/am a tip toe walker and its because I used a baby walker when younger. I do a lot of sport now and have lots of problems with my knee's becuase my calf muscles are much too tight along with the tendons and ligaments at the back of my heel. This has pulled other muscles out of line, so my hips, knees and ankles are all out of sync. I have had physio from about 14 (now 24) to try and lengthen and strengthen various muscles. I manage ok in day to day life, although I have problems kneeling down and bending my knees, and my problems have been aggravated by the amount of high level sport I do, but the cause is apparently largely due to a lot of tip toe walking when younger. So I would try and get this sorted if possible.
Good luck!
