I'm training as a chartered surveyor in the rural faculty - not much money £13k a year, but they pay for my professional membership, exam and conference fees and the lifestyle is great. :cool:0 -
Recruitment Consultant, 24, been doing it for 18 months since Uni, tough work due to a lot of knock backs but will earn £40-£50k this year, so the money is good to combat the stress!

I'm a PA to a 'one man band' Promotions company who also provide tutors for workshops for young people, covering things like graffit, DJ'ing, drama, street dance. We also promote several football freestylers, including two Guiness world record holders, and a whole fistfull of bands, magicians, comedians etc. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

I'm 25 and I'm a television researcher. I work at lots of different companies and make science documentaries. It's lots of fun - but scary in between contracts
What I earn varies but currently I'm on about £30k (not taking into account the fact that I am likely to have 1-2 months off unpaid a year).0 -
I work as a Marketing Manager for a small graphic design agency, but I have been put on short time, now only working 16 hrs a week. I earn £14.50 an hour though so I am trying to hang on to that, and I have just started mystery shopping to supplement my income.0

Im a 32 year old Senior Buyer for the construction industry........................ Was made redundant in July from a fantastically paid job for a main housing developer. Gutted. Shock to the system. Working again for a roofing and cladding company for a lot less money. But at least I have a job i suppose. Buyer, transport manager, HR, training co-ordinator, estimator, P.A.T Tester. You name it I now do it !! Never a dull day....................................0

I'm a proofreader. More precisely a legal proofreader. Not that interesting you might say, but it's a full-time job and I get paid London rate but work from home in Devon. Plus, most importantly I can take my 7 year-old to school and pick him up in my late lunch break. Only real concern is that there isn't this kind of job down here so if I lose my job (not too likely at the moment being a law firm but who knows), I'll be up the creek, not paddling but drowning.0
