Samsung E350 - Sound Problem?
Hi
Have just purchased a new Samsung E350 from Virgin PAYG and am thrilled with the phone but there is one major problem with it - the sound is a bit muffled - sounds like the person at the other end is talking through a sock. Have been using a Nokia 3310 and the sound on that is fine so no problem with my SIM card. I will be returning the phone but do not know whether to exchanage it for the same phone or get another Nokia. Anybody else who has this mobile got problems with the sound or is it just me?
Thank you in advance to any one who takes the time and trouble to reply to this.

I have this fone and I also had the same problem, when I first used it it sounded like the person on the other end was talking through a crisp packet!!! I held on to the fone regardless and found out that its just the speaker that needs ' running in' and the best way to do this is to play some music on the fone for about 20-30 min and that will sort it!!!!!
Like with anything new, it needs running in so that the speaker can loosen up and function well!!!!
Sounds Daft but it will work!!
All the best

This phone gets lots of outstanding reviews at http://www.mobile-phones-uk.org.uk/samsung-e350.htm. It's worth trying another handset and if the sound is still bad then you can try a different model. Virgin customer service is very good and you should get your handset exchanged the next working day after you call them. The courier will bring the new one and take your faulty one away at the same time.lizzieb wrote:Hi
