Simply walk out of one screen and straight into the next.
Most cinemas only check your ticket once and when you're in you can walk into whichever screens you want. 2 films (or more if you have the stamina) for the price of one!
Much as we are all feeling the pinch these days, encouraging people to commit fraud is hardly constructive. Cinema tickets are not exactly a necessity - they are a luxury and part of money-saving is re-evaluating what you really need vs what you want.
My husband was made redundant from his job in the film industry earlier this year due to cut-backs - no wonder when people are being encouraged on public forums to steal from the industry. Would you suggest that someone who wants two pairs of shoes but can only afford one should walk out of the shop with 2 pairs but only pay for one? Thought not.
And before you jump in - no, my DH was not some over-paid exec of a film company. He was a technical support worker doing shifts round-the clock on an average wage to support his family. When he was working nights and I was working days I didn't see him for over a week at a time. But we carried on because he loved the industry and loved his work.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970. I only ever go to the cinema on 2 for 1 tickets, usually mid week when its a fiver, so therefore for both of us. We either dont bother with sweets or we get our own.0

sorry to hear about the job aspect...we don't think sometimes about the ramifications of changes in the economy...sometimes they are far reaching.
one thing that puzzles me now is our local cinema has put up a sign advising that they will search bags before people are allowed into the cinema.
I don't want ot ask why in case I get the straight answer that it's to stop food smuggling...I was wondering:
a) is it really for food and drink
or
b) is it a security initiative?
wonder if it's happened to anyone else? For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -

its to look for recording equipment they dont care if the odd customer takes in pop corn my wife has large bag open and is eating it as she gives them ticket
also for some films staff stand at the back with night sites watching if people are copying the film on there cameras
most people wont go to woolworths or tescos before as it seems paying lots is part the experianceIn London, you're never more than 20 feet away from someone telling you you're never more than 20 feet from a rat .0 -
I barely go to the cinema unless it's seefilmfirst solely because of the cost involved (and partly because of the sound of crisp packets rustling all the way through and the accompaning chomp chomp chomp!). I did splash out for Sex and the City when it came out just because I had to, but I can't justify spending over a tenner for a movie with some extras.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

easyway around that put food and drink in large empty "always" bag in bottom of your handbag and if they are searching head for young student boy doing the searching he wont check
that advise comes from a student forum where they too are trying to save money for beer :beer:In London, you're never more than 20 feet away from someone telling you you're never more than 20 feet from a rat .0 -
I have been taking my own sweets to the cinema for as long as I can remember (thankyou my parents for instilling this into me)
I have even taken my macdonalds in with me!
Also student discount at vue cinemas still applies at weekends so maybe try them next time.0 -
