Hi all,
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem - when I've done a load of washing my conditioner compartment of the drawer is full of water, I have to take the drawer out before each new load to empty it.
I have done an empty drum wash twice with only bleach (2 capfuls) and have cleaned the water channel that leads down from under the drawer to the machine (it had black gunk in). There is nothing more I can clean, yet the water keeps building up in (only) this compartment.
Can anyone please advise me on what I could try?
Thanks in advance,
Lisa

Hi aquarian,
www.washerhelp.co.uk is a good website for help with washing machine repairs. I found this for you on there.

Mine is always full of water, I just put conditioner in with the water, I have been doing this for 3 years, it saves on conditioner!KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0

I had my last washer for 10 years and it always did that, I never did find out why but it didn't seem to affect anything.0

Thanks Pink-winged!:D At long last I understand how my conditioner dispenser works:o I have cleaned the gunk, and it was fascinating and fun to do the test at the sink. It works:j :j :j :T :TYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0

its possible your washing machine leans forward slightly and so the draw doesn't drain properly - try raising the two front feet /screws a little.
Having said that it wont do it any harm, your supposed to clean out the draw occasionally, just like the filter.0 -
Mine does that, but only when I get white fabric softener! (ie comfort pure or morrisons version)
Got blue this time :-)0 -
Mine does that too I just ignore it. I don't use fabric conditioner so I thought maybe it was that but if others have the problem and do use conditioner then I don't know what causes it.0

mine does it too. i haven't found out why either its a miele and otherwise works perfectly. i just rinse the drawer out under the tap each time as i'v given up0

this happened to me the other day so I added some white vinegar to the standing water before I did a load of washing. That seemed to do the trick - the water went!
