As Shanta posted or to buy a dedicated DVD software programme like Nero or Roxio.
These can be used to copy, edit, produce you own DVD's, music and data CD's.

If you have a dvd burner and dvd drive on your pc you can straight copy them via software that came with the pc.eg: nero or the like.
How ever if you have just a dvd burner / player. Yes you will need to burn to hdrive then to disc.
 Download dvd decrypter and instal.
Insert disc on mode tab at top choose ISO then choose read from shoot out list and select destination for file to be saved_ bottom window_to the left.
When done select write from list, insert blank disc, select file to be bured and click burn.

            this will do it
 http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgburn/
from the front menu choose "image file from disc" and download to PC , it either goes in a new folder on c: or you can click on "Destination" about half way down on the left and put it where you like
then its easiest to shut down the program and start again , then choose "Write Image file to Disc" and the file name you made in the first step by clicking on the "please select a file" bit at the top and burn the copy , when done then insert the next DVD and repeat (check the first DVD runs in your DVD Player) until all copies you need are done.
as its not a protected DVD then theres no need for DVD Decrypt or any other software

DVD Shrink will copy your disc to your desktop or straight to your DvD Writer and the free imgburn will too i think0

If there are region and protection issues ANY DVD from https://www.slysoft.com is a great solution. DVD shrink is there to decrypt and shrink a dual layer movie disk to fit on a standard 4.7 Gb DVD blank.0

I want to make a back up copy of a film I have so DD can keep a copy in her bedroom and I can keep mine nice in the box (DVDs go into hdiing in her room). Will this software do it? ~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)
