Anyway, I feel now that we are in the midst of a global financial crisis that this may serve to finally get the 'good wife guide' out and start teaching it in schools and get this country back to those good old family values; men earning the wanger and the women staying at home keeping the house *runs and hides*

Actually I agree, if I cannot find say, a pair of underpants I will SHOUT down the stairs, "Where is my thong" and she will say, 'in the draw' whereupon I open the drawer and if I cant see them I will reply 'I cant find them'

  • I dont think that's controversial Len,
I dont have an issue with that. But it's a 2 way street-since women like me and Sammy work full time as well as our VERY hard working husbands, the house responsibilities need to be shared.

Sammy, can't you and OH go halves on what's left to do? surely the cleaners have done all the cleaning? or does that still leave the washing & ironing and cooking? tell him you'll do one if he does the other.

Skint, there is NOTHING left to do, its all done...but he comes through the door, leaves his bag in the hallway, along with his golf clubs. then he gets his golf books out and leaves them lying around......and on and on and on...

(ssshhh, he doesn't know I got the cleaners in, he thinks i did it all myself!):rotfl:
