Well I have had an interesting day so far (not!)

I didn't get up until 1.30pm, had a bath, had a bacon sandwich, did some ironing and that is me for the day! Now sat on the settee and do not intend to move apart from getting some tea later. How decadent is that?

It's best to wait until you have something that really means something to you - either because of something in your life, or something to do with someone special to you and you want a lasting memory. I will never forget the very young girl having a huge pooh, tigger and eeyore tattoe'd all across her back copied from a birthday card she pulled out of a bag when I had my first one done. I thought silly, silly girl............

    Hello everyone!

Got to agree with BB on the tattoo front. I've got one which I will NEVER regret getting. Picture the scene...

It's May 1999 and Man U have won the Premier League and the FA Cup and are on their way to making history by winning the treble. I'm v drunk with my pal, celebrating the double when we make a pact that if Man U win the Champions League, and thus the treble, we'll get Man U tattoos.

Fast forward a couple of weeks. The hangover's almost gone but the promise remains. Off we head to a tattooist in Stockport and look at the Man U tattoos...

They look like they've been drawn by children. With crayons.

However, I've wanted a tattoo for years, so I go for it! It only took about 10 minutes and didn't really hurt and now I have a lovely tattoo on my left shoulder/back which is a very small, black chinese symbol for "dad" - in memory of my dad who died in 1990 :A . I will never regret it, and in fact am thinking of getting a second one of a bird, which was my dad's pet name for me. Just don't know where to have it.

I've seen women in their 50s with Winnie the Pooh tattoos and I think "you silly !!!!!....!" :rotfl:

DDs best tattoo is some butterflys and a vine going from her left shoulder to her neck. Her tattooist did it really delicately with really fine needles so it almost looks like a pencil drawing.

I've got a 'tribal' depiction of the front of my VW Camper at the top of left arm and, when completed, two Celtic-type roundels on right ( designed by DD ) and a copy of the Rocky Valley Maze ( google it ) as well. Oh, and an Aries sign on right outer wrist.
