What is the cheapest vodaphone tarrif?

I am looking to downgrade my daughters vodaphone tarrif to the cheapest/best deal. At the moment she is getting 200 x network minutes and no free texts and it is costing £30 approx, the contract still has 4-5 months to run, she texts more than calls, so if anyone could advise I would be very grateful!

The cheapest Vodafone tariff is their Anytime 25 @ £15 per month. Add a bundle of 50 texts for £3 per month.

Charlotte3, how much does your daughter text and call approx?

The tariff that Steve_xx mentions sounds ok but if your daughter makes say an hours worth of calls and 50 texts a month then that would probably still cost about £30 or more even on that cheaper tariff.
If you could post back with an average months usage that would help more.

Not sure if this will help you and your daughter as you still have quite a while to go your contract so you have less bargaining power but my tariff used to cost me similar and when contract was up, I phoned Vodafone up and asked them what they could offer me.
I got offered a few different things but the best one for me personally was not getting a new phone and instead getting a reduction of my tariff and more texts.
So now I have 200 cross networks minutes and 500 texts for £19.99. I do text quite a bit and send at least 10-15 texts a day which works out at about 400 texts a month I send but my bill stays at £19.99 as I never phone 0845 or 0870 numbers.

    Hope some of this helps.

You could try phoning vodafone as you will most likely get different answers depending on the operator you speak to.

She doesn't make many calls, but does use a fair few texts. She was getting 250 free texts for 6 months, but sadly that's over now and she has gotten used to texting as much as she wants! Have to try and ween her off that!

The tarrif Steve mentioned sounds pretty good, but not as good as yours ti1980! Well done on bagging a bargain!

thanks to all, for you help!

I just rang Vodaphone to go ahead with the downgrade to Anytime 25 and guess what.... they stopped doing it at the end of December!! Just my luck!! CS did say however, to ring back at the end of Jan ,begining of Feb, when their sales are over and they may have reinstated the tariff.

The tarrif is still showing on their website though. Maybe it's only for new contracts only.

Typical isn't it? The 'brand new customers' only syndrome.
Did they suggest any alternatives for you or tell you what is their cheapest tariff at the moment is?

The cheapest tarrif at the moment is Talk 75 for £20 per month. I could downgrade to that, I have until the 2nd Feb before my next bill comes out on the 4th, to decide, so I'll see what happens. Trouble is, you are only allowed one change of tarrif per 6 months, so once I've changed it I I'm stuck with it.
