Cillit bang is brilliant. We have really hard water and it gets all the stains and scale off from round the taps. Its very effortless.
  • Shiny Sinks from Wilkinsons, it costs around £1.50 and works a treat, I have a double sink and it brought it back to new condition, really really good and easy to use.

Another vote here for bar keeper's friend. I have satin stainless steel appliances, and it cleans really well without being at all abrasive.

Thank you all for so many tips but!!! Iam startingto feel it is looking like a faulty sink. It is two months old and the blotches appear to be under the immediate surface so may need to complain to Wickes from where I bought it.

Anyone else have these blotchy marlkings?

  • Starclen with ammonia. The tiniest drop cuts through grease and leaves the sink shiny.

Another vote here for Shiny Sinks, easy to use and the smell doesn't give you headaches like some other products.
