My 2 mittens used to have Asda tiger dry biscuits + tiger kitten sachets.
Both are very cheap and no issues ie upset tms + things.
Now they have Whiskas Sackets + Whiskas dry biscuits only because both are extremely reasonalby priced in Costco.
£12.00 for 48 sachets - sometimes its cheaper
£7.00 something for the biscuits and its a really big bag....
They do Felix sachets for about £10.00 + their own brand Kirkland dry cat biscuits - dont know how much they are but I will check the prices totday.0 -

i can just see my two Siamese cats looking at me with utter disdain if I served them up a bowl of Lentils and Feta cheese with salad.
good quality dry food doesn't have to be expensive. yesterday i saw Hills Science Diet for sale at just under £10...a bag should last just over a month for 1 cat if you measure out the food correctly (my cat has 50-60 grams a day)0 -

cats can eat cheese & it's good for them now & again!:T0 -
My little precious (!) has a constant supply of dried complete cat food. She likes Purina - both the original and the Naturals range and also wet cat food a couple of times a day. She likes Sheba and a Gourmet range whose name escapes me.
She absolutely will not eat human food - she dislikes cheese, cat milk, fish, chicken any sort of cat treat or snack.0 -

agreed!
when mine used to be on dry they wouldn't drink enough water to make up for the lack of water in the food, causing 2/5 of them to have cystitis, a LONG illness to cure. one was cured in 6 months, the other (touch wood) has just healed properly & has been on daily pills for the last 24 months - costing me an utter fortune!
to the OP, i'd test out brands. mine didn't like being switched from dry to wet, and one would throw up if she hated it! we literally had a checklist of all wet foods from all supermarkets & went through each variety! they landed on felix fish selection jelly! they won't eat any other variety OR gravy version.Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! Iams do cruel testing on animals - cats & dogs - if you look there is an article on the site that goes into graphic detail
Which site?My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I thought Hill's also test on animals. Can anyone confirm this please. Thanks Fiona0

I also use tesco's crunchies but i have the kitten variety that has added calcium. I used to feed them iams but its really expensive whereas the tesco's food is 45p for a small box.
I compaired the ingredients and nutritional values on the pack and the tesco's brand didnt seem much different to the branded types.
All three of my cats seem to love it, even my new addition...he eats tons of it. I do give them wiskers every so often as a treat but they end up eating the jelly and not the meat.0
