Oooooh, not 'arf. I had way too much money in one bank, but I just thought it would never happen. I'd put the proceeds of a bond in just three weeks before the collapse too. Clever me!

I didn't have a penny in the tinpot bank but after reading M. Lewis's advice I decided to place 28k of my beloved's insurance dosh in the North Atlantic. :eek:

Still, if we had a crystal ball we'd all be millionaires eh? I acted on advice too.

My sisters told me not to put all my eggs in one basket, but it was easier to have only one bank account to check. I'm just thankful I didn't need the money to finance a house purchase, which I could easily have done. :eek:

The ironic thing is at the same time I put slightly more of my dosh into Kauput Thing on a years fixed rate which ING are honouring at 7.05%
