P.S. That whole thread on banjo strings was repulsive! Never heard it called that before and certainly never knew they could snap! Ugh!
It never ceases to amaze me how each up-coming generation manages to shock the elders, when I always considered my generation to be fairly wild. Is that called getting old?!

You lot would have wet yourselves. Whilst shopping I parked on double yellows outside the little garage that I usually take my car to. The brake light on the rear foiler had come loose and was hanging from it. Just needed a screw (don't go there Andrew). As I was talking to the mechanic an over zealous but extremely attractive blonde police woman appeared from no where and glared across the road at me. " Hold your horses love" I shouted "Put that pen down." It got worse from there but somehow I evaded the £30 fixed penalty that she kept saying I deserved.
