That is so weird I applied for 2 jobs recently both with autistic youngsters a company called Options. Unfortunately, although I made it to interview, I wasn't sucessful, no experience.

:mad: :mad: :mad: rant Adey yes you had no experience but my god a guy like yourself with x years in Army and x years in polis, 2 sons and ample experience in the "university of life " it is not all about exam /nvq certificates etc ,you would make an ideal perfect candidate -what noggins -but then in this nulab age it is all about ticking boxes etc.
Makes me angry Adey that they should decline you,you have much to offer IMO.

Thank you Steve, but unfortunately although I have people skills I have no real skills as it were. Working with autistic kids is a great skill. I blew it on interview they said how would you feel about showering an 18 year old boy, and honestly I replied "That's difficult to put your finger on" Double retrospective cringe.
