I've just been watching 'Dragons' Den - Dragons' Stories' on Duncan Bannatyne (Sky +d). Now he's a REAL man and at 59 very, very attractive. I would like to think age doesn't come into it.

Did see an article/interview on him in which he admitted to a few eye-bag removals - but who can blame him, probably just pocket money to him !

    Actually here it is: http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/mediamonkeyblog/2008/aug/12/bannatynessaysbyetothebag?gusrc=rss&feed=media
  • Hello again all you Icesave veterans! :hello: Lovely to see there is an ongoing thread with all the usual suspects:rotfl:

My money is now in the bank wahey!! Not sure where to put it now though as I want to transfer it back into an ISA:confused:

When I last posted on Thursday afternoon to say that I had at last been able to initiate, I was in such a state about it all I started to get severe chest pains. Stabbing pains followed by hours of feeling like my chest was being crushed by a summo wrestler and very shallow breaths which hurt! I am OK now (I think!) I went to the GP on Friday morning and he checked me out. Heart seems fine but BP and pulse are up, so the diagnosis is I had a severe panic attack!

Have to admit I thought I was having a heart attack and OH was away at the time! By the time he came back, the pain was recceeding and he made me make the appointment with GP the next morning. I was close to calling an ambulance myself at one point and the GP said I should have! GP checked heart but also offered to send me to hospital to get a total check up in cardio (2 days on the ward being monitored!)- I said if you think my heart is OK by your examination, that's OK with me and I'll pass on the cardio! We'll put it down to a panic attack!

As far as I know, these will take about 2 weeks from when you initiated the transfer process (or when your money got into your linked account). Bear in mind that Christmas is fast approaching so there may be delays in the post.

Surviving Icesave is dangerous to health, so is relying on GP's. Be careful with those symptoms.
