Just posted this on the Arms board.
Any Icesave survivors here?
Hello, Ive been popping in recently and would like to say what a fantastic place this is welcoming, friendly and full of witty people. I'm sure I noticed some familiar names fom the Icesave saga. I just want to let them know we've still got an Icesave Veterans Association thread on the Savings and Investment board Icesave Veterans Association (1 2 3 ... Last Page) if anyones interested in joining you'll be very welcome. Thanks Adey

I'm a newbie to the forums, but also an Icesave veteran. I was over the moon to open the post this morning and find a cheque for the last of the money they owed me. I'll definitely be looking around for somewhere safe to put that!!0

Morning all,
Not had time to read the thread yet (though anything's better than Bargain Hunt, sheesh). Saw a link to this in Money Savers Arms so thought I'd pop in and say Hi. I AM AN ICESAVE SURVIVOR!!!!
T'was extremely scary for many a month though, while we waited to see what would happen. Has made me very, very itchy abou trusting other people with my dosh!!FFW: Weight 06/01/07 11 st 6lbs 01/02/09 - 9st 6 lb
How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on... when in your heart, you begin to understand. There is no going back. There are some things that time cannot mend... some hurts that go too deep. That have taken hold.0 -
Warmest welcome your highness. It may be an idea to read through a few old pages to get an idea of what we get up to. Traffic is not nearly as busy as the Arms but hope you enjoy visiting us. I'll stick you on our membership list which is on page one. As an Arms regular you may recognise others on the list that may wish to join.In memory of Chris Hyde #8670
