Adey you are younger than I thought so only 52 =not old at all my oh is 50 in Feb and is not looking forward to that day
I hope it won't go as bad as my 50th, ended up having a barney with the stepson, spent the next week in a Cleethorpes Guesthouse to cool down. Cleethorpes in October how desperate was I.

oh dear stepson problems  thankfully I have never ever never had problems with mine just a great relationship -but that was desperation on your part -you should have stood your ground and be firm -did your oh support you or son?
TBH step daughter when 13 told school I beat her up -rubbish that evening Gestapo Social Service lady at our fron door demanding entry -never had so much stress in all my life my oh was in full support -we never did get an apology from the Gestapo0 -
Very, very diffiicult being a step parent, can't do right for doing wrong, it's too easy for them to throw the old well you're not my dad in your face. I get on alright with the lad now. It was only last year when my eldest was 29 that he said "Dad thanks for everything you've done and I can understand why you were so strict about certain things".
Tissues!!!

rest assured I shall be on the VWE tomorrow even though jsut out of warranty it is not fit for purpose -Watchdog even ?0 -

Back to a bit of culture I'm surprised Olivia's taste is so classical, I thought she'd be a Walter Gropius (unfortunate name) and Bauhaus fan.
now I though being so "dominant" :rotfl: that she would be in to heavy metal like Metallica and AC/DC and that she fancies Jon Bon Jovi:D
Sadly I am not a classical man :eek:0
