    well oq having moved away 25 years ago it is neither -when dealing with all nationalities when I moved to Germany -chinese,German,indian etc I had to speak very clearly so very quickly I lost the accent -except when I used to return home to my parents and I would slip back into it a little .
    These days I have a little east midlands accent and slight north east but generally not much accent-but I think you can detect that I am Geordie (not really Geordies are born and live in Newcastle ,and we are Makems born in Sunderland).

    My wife told me it was my accent which she fell in love with -she had never met me ,we had just talked for ages on the phone .
