Whilst going through my divorce I took lodgings with a lady who suffered from ME, more life in a flat battery. She organised a barbeque for fellow suffers, what a fiasco, no one had the energy to cook, they all ended up eating salad. :rotfl:

That's a true story. It took me weeks to get through 10lb of bangers and 3 dozen beef burgers. :D

:T Brilliant ! Wacky Jacky would've whipped them into action !

Had to re-read that ST! For a second, thought we were getting a little "too open" in this forum. Imagined you and her at "it" on the kitchen table and then "phew, I'm exhausted let's go to bed ! " :rotfl:

No fireworks in the Ami boudoir. Less pyrotechnics than a damp, oxygen starved sparkler.

At 11:55 my wife said "don't be late popping your cork".....if always the instruction was that way round ! :rotfl:

I can remember when I was 22 years being on a probationers course away from home. I stayed in lodgings a week with a dear old lady, must have been in her early sixties. Lovely, lovely lady who provided gorgeous breakfasts and evening meals. On the last evening of my stay, as a thank you, I gave her a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates. She was very touched. She left the living room in her quilted dressing gown and slippers. I thought she'd gone for a little cry. She returned 10 minutes later, bare foot, heavily lip sticked and wearing quite a revealing nightie. I was petrified, feigned a headache and went to bed. I tell you what, I slept with one eye open that night. :D
