Ok folks and folkesses, now is a good time to check that the important security update has made it into your Internet Explorer (I know MS published it cos I've just updated mine).

What you need to do is:-

    1. Click Start then Programs, then Windows Update

    2. Click on View update history and make sure that "Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Blah (KB960714)" appears. The important bit to look for is the code KB960714. If present and correct then STOP, you're protected.

    3. If not protected, you probably have "automatic updates" switched off. So click on "Changes Settings" and click "Install updates" (next to big green tick). Note that if you have a slow connection and don't have infinite patience, you may wish to select "check for updates but let me decide whether to update them" and make sure you answer yes to KB960714!

Mine said important update to install I then installed the security 7 update. Usually these updates are done automatically aren't they. Anyway thanks hopefully that should stop any unscrupulous orientals gaining access to me privates. :D

Sure - I had auto updates switched off cos was fed up being nagged about them, but I won't be so frivolous in future, auto updates now back on!

Enjoyed your oql61/suesie999 online sandwich then? Yeah, Royal Variety was very hit and miss. Liked Jimmy Carr's simple joke:-
"I told my girlfriend my fantasy was three-in-a-bed. To begin with she seemed interested. But her attitude changed when she realised she didn't feature!":D

Ami...... reminds me of Amy Turtle from Crossroads

    _38937283_crossroads_70s_203pa.jpg

Daft plots Such were the daft plots that Amy Turtle was accused of being a Russian spy who had cunningly changed her name from Amelia Turtlovski. If that story were ever resolved, and not everything was, nobody cared. :rotfl:

  • My only 2 soaps ever: Dallas and Brookside!
Plenty of daft stuff on even now...take (literally) "Apparitions" with Martin Shaw...actually he's meant to be a mature lady's pin-up. Elegant beard, ladies?
Don't faint - I'm off to do some work ...

Nothing of the sort young man. oql61 and chameleon were my dinner guests, (by that chameleon can't half eat ;) .) We had a la carte menu: Brandy, bottles of Bud, pizza, nuts, custard creams, and Thorntons chocs. Discussed the finer points of further and higher education. Then beat up the lazy teenagers. All good, clean innocent fun.:rotfl:
