The OH says I remind her of Yule Brenner, but only when I'm in me half mast pyjama bottoms (The King and I me thinks) :rotfl:

Nice of Chameleon to pop in, don't you think?

I do think forums are great fun. It's the perfect combination of 'relating' to people without all the hassle of hearing their dreary, me-orientated monologues.

Yes, Chameleon. You're so right! Is that a Drooly Smiley?
How are you? And the family?

Yes, it most definitely is a drooly smiley ;)

That man is 'sex on legs' if you'll pardon the phrase :rotfl:

I'm battling the "black dog" again but hopefully not letting it get the better of me atm. Pretty stressful times here anyway as it's son's final GCSE year so lot's of exams, revision and coursework to deal with. No respite over the festive period either as they are sitting some of the GCSE exams more or less as soon as they return to school in January _pale_

    Roll on the summer! :rotfl:

I may be rather busy over the next few weeks, but be assured I will be checking up on you (I always did have an addictive personality) and will continue to post with you guys as long as we can keep the thread going.

That is one of my all-time favourite films! I could watch it over and over again :D

I do sympathize the black dog often visits me, and I vividly recall the revision blues with my two lads, but console yourself, you suffer because you care.

No, I can totally relate to the children with important exams scenario! Son in his A2 year and needs a rocket up his a*se. I have become a total nag. He is sick of me. I am sick of myself nagging. Thank goodness he broke up today (and is getting p*ssed as we speak) ... but he has a couple of module retakes to do so no respite these holidays.

The scenario carries on into Uni but you never get to hear about it because your kids are then deemed to be adults! No more reports on their endeavours, no more kicks up the bum.
