What worries me is: (from MoneySavingExpert.com)
"This is where it gets quite tricky. The law is plain; the £100 is for the cash value of a ‘single item’ (so excluding any fees, and charges such as delivery). Yet, single items aren’t always that straightforward."
My bill is itemised and some 'items' are less than £100!

A few years ago we were on dial up to internet and a company set up a free 0800 number for net access. To use this number you had to register and sign up with a life time subscription of 80 pounds.
Total cost 80 pounds set up fee and 80 pounds subscription = 160
I paid via visa
Some time later the company dropped the 0800 number and tried to charge 1p/min online time via a different number.
I claimed via visa for losing my service and as i has been originally billed for 160 pounds for internet services got a full refund.
My daughter had also taken up the offer from her address but had been billed for 80 for subscription and 80 for set up and visa rejected all her claim and she got nothing.
