Reseller Hosting

Getting a bit fed up of my current one, and recommendations? Comments on uptime/quality/services/price as well as space and bandwidth appreciated. Location not important.
Before someone comes a long and says search as it is asked every week, it is not, that is normal hosting that is asked about regularly. A good host does not necessarily offer good reseller services at reasonable prices

The best Reseller hosting I found seem to be from the US. At work we use..
Hostican Tera-Host Package - http://www.hostican.com/
or
Mediatemple - http://mediatemple.net/
I've only dealt with Hostican but heard good things about MediaTemple. The cost of a reseller account with UK based hosting companies can run into the hundreds for a month at a time.
Hope that helps.0 -
Thanks, will have a look at them.
Any others from anyone else?0 -
Bump for Friday early evening people0

HeartInternet.co.uk.
UK (Nottingham) based company, fantastic customer service and price is pretty spot on. I personally, for resellers at least, would not use anyone else. The time I had spent with them was fantastic and a joy to work with. If your user-base is UK based (In which case DC location does matter) then I highly recommend them.
Fasthosts.co.uk is also pretty dandy, though I've never used their reseller services, only dedicated servers in which the servers were rebuilt with our preference in software. However again, fantastic customer services, price isn't that bad, but just keep an eye out for extra costs they try and throw in on occasion.0 -
I'm totally new, hey all! :j
Have you considered US based hosting companies? As far as I know, thinkhost or hostagor are the cheapest and most reliable. Why not check them out?

I use SurpassHosting.com
Yes, they are U.S. Based, however i have had excellent service from them at a fraction of the cost of Heart/Fasthosts, which are names i would personally avoid.
The Bronze package is what i am on, its about $276, so roughly £200 a year. There are larger packages also, but you get WHMCS included free, which costs $20 a month on its own anyway, and is very useful for reseller accounts.
I would recommend it heavily, or the sister company, called HostDime i think.
Since August my tracker has only detected 1hr downtime, of which i was informed.0 -

Like I said in the original post, location does not matter in my case - and for that reason, HeartInternet and Fasthosts (of which the website is ironically very slow atm) are VERY expensive.
Looks like a toss up between surpasshosting.com and Site5

Take a look at http://www.blackfoot.co.uk before you make your mind up.0

Didn't take me long to make my mind up - £200 a year for the privilege of getting 50% off accounts for the people I host for - or am I missing something?0 -
With blackfoot you're limited to 10 (active) domains for £200. Heart Internet is £300 a year for truly unlimited. If the location of servers isn't a consideration then I'd definitely choose a US company that can offer unlimited domains for $200 or less.0
