 I have just been let down by Tescodirect.com AGAIN on their delivery. They send you confirmation emails with a delivery date, have spent all day waiting for it, no show and then when you look at 'track my order' they have moved the delivery to another day WITHOUT ringing you or emailing you. I have just cancelled my order and ordered my family to remove my fingers if I ever try to use them again. THEY ARE RUBBISH!!!!! BE WARNED:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I would email customer services they may compensate you.No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
Thank you Catmiow, probably will when I calm down. This was for my son's 18th Birthday and I am steaming. They let me down on a delivery in March and I said then that I wouldn't use them again and here I am now let down again.
Will I ever learn?:mad:0 -
I had a problem a few weeks ago.
I got a phone cll telling my my order was at the shop. (saved the P&P cos the store is a 5 min drive from me!).
So went to the store the next evening.
The desk had closed at 8. It was 5 past 8 & I wasn't told timings.
Anyway I got the store manager. So he went in but couldn't find my order.
I went back the next morning & I had to wait 10 mins for my order to come from the delivery!
The manager told me that this had happened before. Customers are getting the calls but the stock hasn't arrived. Also he is going to make sure customers are told that the desk is open 8 till 8.

I ordered on there and got an email saying it would be delivered on wednesday. True to their word a package arrived.. but it was only half the delivery and said box 1 of 2 on it! so my husband chased after the courrier and asked about the second box. they guy said he didnt have it and it must be on a different van...! so we checked the online tracker and it said that it was coming seperately and that the delivery date had changed to the following day! meaning waiting in for two days for the order!
I am thinking of emailing them.0 -
Same thing has happened to me. I've spent two days waiting in for Tesco/Home Delivery Network. Two days I've wasted. One of the managers at Tesco Direct was meant to be calling me back..... they haven't. I've just called them and guess what? They're closed - despite the idiot I was talking to on the phone telling me they close at 9pm.
I'm absolutely furious. Apparently Home Delivery Network have a backlog of 1000 parcels I was told on the phone. If that's the case, why on earth are Tesco still using them?
Absolute rubbish. :mad:0 -
I had a large item booked for delivery today - anytime between 8am-6pm.
Got a phone call around 11.15am, saying they were aiming to get to me between 11.45am - 12.45pm and they arrived at 12.10pm.
Absolutely delighted with the service :cool:Here I go again on my own....0 -
Pleased to see Becles had good service. I've come to the conclusion that Tesco give you a delivery date to get your money and then change the delivery to suit themselves. I cancelled my order and went elsewhere - actually got a better deal and a delivery slot which was convenient to me. Will never use them again.0

Hm, Yes but they took my money when they 'shipped' the laptop to their warehouse instead of to my home on the due date. I had quite a long conversation about the fact that it was going to take them 3 - 5 working days to refund the money and at no point did they say that they hadn't taken the money.0

Read their terms and conditions
It states they don't take money until the item ships
You will find it was an authorisation hold.
Read my post - they took the money out of my account BEFORE they shipped the items. It was NOT an authorisation hold - I have access to my account, I know whether money was taken or not!0
