Anyone got their rebate from www.tulipplus.com?
I did a search and can't find anything on here which is surprising as they have had a lot of bad press - Google them or look on: http://uk.blagger.com/db4/company_id/1431/companyname/Tulip-UK-Ltd.html
A colleague is getting the runaround from this lot who keep saying "next month" for his first rebate although the next payment is due soon. 3 won't help unless Tulip actually refuse to pay the rebate.
My son is due to apply for his first rebate soon.
Should he be worried?

I am due mine and have not received anything but sent it special delivery. I just came across blagger as well and saw the comments on there. I feel like a complete idiot now. I don't think I am going to get the rebate. They never included the terms for sending the paperwork off in with my letter so I called them and they told to send copies, now I see other sre saying they are asking for original bills. I see from other websites that if you can prove you paid the phone company (bill & bank statements) then you can claim for the money through the small claims court. Perfect really, worth the £30 to get my money back as I have all the original paperwork (they asked for copies). Has anyone does this and do you think I should wait until the whole year is up or do this every 3 months now to get my money back. Heck I'll even claim the money back for the special delivery letter, LOL, as personally I would not have thought they have a leg to stand on if I have their terms set out on paper. Advice would be apprecated. Thank you.0

Here are some opinions from other people, and a Daily Mirror article:

Based on the above links, I suspect my colleague is wasting his time and should take out a small claims court action against them.
It may be worth getting their local trading standards involved too.

Wonder of wonders, his rebate has arrived - only 2.5 months late. He thinks his constant badgering may have helped.
Soon he'll be asking for the second one.

I am also in the same situation as many of you and waiting for my first cashback from 2 months. I have called them many times and everytime reason changes for not giving the cashback in time.
I think the best thing is to give them a call and threaten them to take them to County court claim and Trading association if we are not paid in 7 days time. Ask the name of the person you are speaking to and write a letter - sent with recorded delivery to Tulipplus giving them 7 days limit to credit your account, with details of all previous correspondence.
Keep everybody in this forum informed about what they replied on phone, so that each one of us can talk to them accordingly.0
