Asda Mobile - argh, the forgot to send out a topup card with the sim

Order a sim pack from Asda yesterday, arrived this morning, so far so good.

Open it up and there's a sim card but no topup card and the nearest Asda is 20 miles away.

Numpties!

i picked up one on the Asda checkout earlier this week in the area where theres leaflets for car/home insurance . credit card etc and they had them on customer services too

I have not found any shop other than ASDA who can topup with these cards, though. Tesco does not and neither do the local cash machines in my area. I would hate to travel every time I wanted to make a topup

It seems they dont supply a top up card with the sim packs. I got mine this time last year & no top up card was present. Readilly available from an asda store though

Regarding topping up......i live in a rural area (way out in the sticks) but i can top up at my village post office, Well, at least for the time being auntill it gets closed.:rolleyes:

If you register a Debit or Credit card with them you can do it on the phone.

Call them on 2732 from your mobile and ask for one

Nice idea but as the sim's for my teenage daughter I don't want to go down that route.

My ex-wife goes to Asda now and then so she's going to get a topup card, so the problem will be solved, soonish.

I thought you can top up at any shops where you see the top up logo!! I must be wrong. I am thinking of getting an asda sim but would like to be able to top up at Tesco or Boots.

If you get a top up card, you can top up at any of the 85,000 + shops that display the green top up logo.

Quite strange then - Tesco do E-topups but not for Asda Mobile. I shall try again next week and see if perhaps my failure to do so was due to it being a relatively new MVNO.
