Hi I am confused about whether to buy a phone which is compatible with internet (any ideas? as i already have a Nokia 6500 which is not very good for the internet as it is ok with some sites for just browsing but u cant do much else.)
Or do i get a laptop/Pc with a contract for the internet.
I will really appreciate suggestions of which affordable phones work just aswell as a Pc or laptop for the internet.
As i know they are expensive.
Thanks in advance

I know there are a lot of haters of the iphone, but for the interet it is fantastic. Perhaps a HTC type phone with windows 6.1 on it would be pretty good as they have a decent screen.
Nokie 95 is pretty good too...depends on budget no doubt.0 -
I've found the Nokia E61 excellent for internet and e-mail. Had one for 17 months and planning to keep it when the contract ends. I prefer to use it in preference to my laptop.0

Thanks for all the replies.
But the Htc is on Tmobile or is it orange anyway neither are any good where i live for coverage.
Im looking for something on o2 or Vodafone.
The E61 doesn't seem to be available anymore.0 -
The Nokia E61 has been replaced with the E71 which appears to be much better, check out

O2 400 mins 18 months,£30 pm, £80 auto cashback, but you would probably have to bolt on web for an extra £7.50 pm?
You could try e-bay for an E61.0 -
XDA Exec; eBay only nowadays, but ive never seen a better "laptop replacement" mobile phone. Tis a shame HTC don't make a new version, smaller and slimmer etc...0

Oh btw, it is called the MDA Pro on T-Mobile, and SPV summit or other on Orange. Vodafone have one too. I think the HTC name was Universal but not sure.
The XDA release was the most popular in the UK by far anyway.0
