  • Cor and i thought i was doing well with my *couch * finds..:rotfl:
I have a spare BT hub, as i was never that impressed either:rolleyes: I am on Talktalk at the mo, but may switch to Sky in a couple of months.

I was going to go to sky - am starting to wish I had - now it seems our broadband is going to be flakey for the next week because we have changed our package! Will see how it goes...am rather stuck as took another 12 month contract when changed package.
  • I will be looking into it in March, after our contract is up. I am not unhappy with Talktalk, just looking for a better deal.

Will be glad when weekend is here! Don't seem to have had any time this week. Nothing much to report - broadband seems to have recovered thankfully but I haven't managed to do any dooyoo or MB. Will do my scratch cards now and might try for one dooyoo review. Also have to check online banking and see if my money has come in.

But I have at least registered for online self assessment for OH and I!

Never mind, mizmir - we do what we can, when we can. I had a clear run yesterday, which was weird, as I had cancellations totalling two hours. It was odd. And I used the time, to, um, sit down and read. And close my eyes! I can't quite believe I did that! I did check on one MB last night, and thankfully it lost at the bookie - I'm hoping I'll bust out, its that big £800 WR, but I'm not placing bets and lays *as if* I'm going to bust out, if you know what I mean.

    Good luck today.

Your week sounds like mine miz - trying to settle back into the swing of things - busy busy busy yet things not seeming to make any progress! The old one step forwards, and at least half a step back syndrome I think!

I hope you have a good weekend when it finally arrives x

Well back on line after a combination of flaky broadband and being laid up having put my back out! Broadband seems to have improved (for now anyway) and back is easing though still very sore. So won't be on for long as need to keep moving it.

But wanted to touch base - things still OK - no progress yesterday but didn't fall back either! Not going to give myself too much today:
    • [strike]Check internet banking[/strike] DONE - and money back from bookies so takes some pressure off this month!
    • [strike]Update snowball[/strike] DONE - and still just about on course!
    • [STRIKE]Ring BS re offset security details[/STRIKE] DONE
    • Start gathering paperwork for self assessment
    • Do some filing
    • [strike]Order dog food[/strike] DONE
    • [strike]Dooyoo review if I can[/strike] DONE - now up to date on my suggestions.
    • [strike]Scratches etc.[/strike] DONE - 20p!
    • [strike]May look at doing a bit of the WR for b 365[/strike] DONE - another bit of the WR done - and could bust me out of bookie if the result goes the right way! And I have done the b 24 one too.

Well I did ok on my list yesterday given I am struggling to move with my back! Dogs are getting stir crazy as I haven't been able to walk them for 3 days and all my new year healthy regime of exercise and good food is in danger of being overtaken by comfort eating! Eeek!

Good start today with £5 on my scratch - first ever so that was a boost.
And completed the WR for b24 last night so just waiting for that to settle and I should be able to withdraw. That only leaves b365 (£500 to go there) and I will be able to get started on some more. Am going to try to do some of that filing today and at least put all the self assessment stuff into a box. It is a start and shouldn't involve too much strain on the back.

Really don't know what is best to do for that? (It is lower back). Gentle stretching exercise? Don't want to make it worse but it seizes up if I stay still (and hurts when I move).

The list is great, but *not* the back, so incapacitating. If its like the lower back pain that my partner has, gentle exercise helps - its called, ahem, sh*gging the carpet. You get down on your hands and knees and slowly make the appropriate movement..... personally, I'd be focussing more on a warm hot water bottle. Any chance of googling? I'll do it now while the kettle's boiling....
